Encorks are synthetic corks / bottle stoppers that contain active compounds to preserve wine.

Long-term exposure to oxygen is harmful to wine and causes it to spoil. Encork wine savers contain active compounds that absorb and remove the oxygen from inside the bottle. This preserves wine for weeks or longer!

Simply remove the cap and press firmly into any bottle, creating an airtight seal. It takes approximately 1 hour to remove all the oxygen.

Encorks have enough power to absorb oxygen from about 750ml of air, and can be used flexibly. For example, you can save a half bottle twice, or a third of a bottle 3 times.

Encorks can be used to preserve champagne and will not absorb the carbonation. However, we don't recommend it because in rare cases the pressure of the bottle can cause the stopper to pop out unexpectedly.

Each stopper is made of food safe and recyclable TPE – an eco friendly alternative to traditional materials like rubber or PVC. It has no odor and is free of BPA and phthalates. The oxygen absorber is a proprietary mixture of earthen materials that have been used in the food preservation industry for decades.

No – materials used in this synthetic wine cork are specifically chosen to be inert and will not impart flavors into the wine. In blind taste tests, both industry experts and casual wine drinkers could not distinguish between wine saved with Encork and a newly opened bottle.

It is recommended to store the bottle upright. To work effectively, the Encork wine stopper needs to be in contact with air inside the bottle.

When you remove the Encork wine cork from the bottle, you should hear a satisfying “pop” which confirms there was a proper seal and oxygen inside was removed.

Refrigeration is not necessary.
